Galaxy is responsible for closing numerous high-value transactions among which are the sale of the nation’s number one Land Rover Jaguar Dealership, one of the oldest BMW dealerships that currently ranks among the top performing BMW dealerships in the country, a top five ranked Audi dealerships in the US and one of the oldest Mercedes-Benz dealerships. Company Leadership
Anthony Assalone, a 50-plus year veteran of the auto dealership industry, leads United Galaxy Associates, LLC, with a blend of experience, dedication and profound passion for the business. His automotive industry journey began when he was appointed by General Motors as one of the youngest ever Buick dealers. Over the next 30-plus years as a new-car dealer, Anthony owned and represented some of the world’s most desired automobile brands, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, Chrysler-Jeep, Saab, Mazda and Toyota. During this time, he was elected by his peers to several prestigious positions, including, National and Regional Dealer Council chairman, and the founding President of the New York Tri-State Mercedes-Benz Dealer Association. Anthony’s commitment to service excellence extends beyond the automotive world, having proudly served in the United States Marine Corps., and helping people with special needs. In his capacity as board member and president of the Arc of Westchester and secretary of NYSARC, Anthony championed many initiatives designed to better the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He created EdocNY, a state-of-the-art document scanning business that provided jobs for people with special needs at equal wages as their colleagues. EdocNY became a model for other organizations and was awarded several large contracts, including the digitization of millions of birth and marriage records for the City of New York going back to the 1800’s, for which the organization received an award of excellence. As the head of Galaxy, Anthony continues to lead by example, inspiring those around him to reach new heights of success. He is driven by an enduring commitment to deliver results for Galaxy’s clients that far exceed their expectations. Anthony’s deep understanding of the business, from a dealer’s perspective, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality throughout the transaction process and delivering a strong work ethic ensures that Galaxy remains a leader in the automotive dealership mergers and acquisitions.
